About Me

  • Name: Michael Richardson
  • Nationality: Canadian
  • Phone: (416) 994 2209
  • Email: michael@ttco.ca

I use my skills, knowledge and personality to create a positive learning environment for students and staff, enabling them to achieve desired outcomes, raise self-confidence, and take personal accountability for learning. My teaching philosophy and methodologies incorporate a multi-dimensional approach, addressing the whole student while building resiliency through authentic challenging outdoor educational experiences.

I am committed to assisting students in developing emotional intelligence and well-being, positive lifelong mental health, and in valuing diversity and the contributions of each student. Engaging students in learning through the utilization of differential instruction, learning-service-learning, and inquiry-based learning enhances my experiential approach to education in and out of the classroom.

What I Do ?

Over the last 20 years, I have been taking people outdoors, engaging individuals in group activities and helping them create connections to their environment. The outdoors can play a key role in personal and professional growth. I hope it will for you, your staff, and, most of all, your students.
